Mmmm, this looks fantastic! I'll have to remember to come back to it once our garden starts putting out strawberries again in the spring!

Thanks Shelly.

I'm making this for the first time for a family get together today :)

Just taken it out of the oven and it smells (and tastes, well I couldn't resist ;-) ) fantastic.

Just cooling now, before I put the strawbs on.

Now, where's my primal pina colada recipe gone?...

Can I substitute oil for the butter in the crust? I don't eat dairy, but this recipe looks so good!

Does this taste like coconut? I am not a fan of coconut, but could substitute with perhaps heavy whipping cream?

I finally made this last night, and it's a winner! I love the lack of any added sweetener. Thanks for the great recipe, I will definitely be making this again.

[...] As we reached the end of this holiday weekend, we did not feel like putting a huge amount of effort into dinner so that we could enjoy these last few hours of freedom. This meal is very typical fare around these parts. I am a big fan of zucchini “noodles”, which is simply julienned zucchini, cooked al dente, but it gives the mouth feel of a pasta dish. We finished off this meal with a slice of Primal Strawberry-Banana Pie, a great recipe I found at http://thisprimallife.com/2009/06/strawberry-picking-and-a-primal-pie/ [...]

Hi Shelly, I just made this and loved the pie! I made a couple boo-boo's but will know for next time to ensure that the bananas are quite ripe to sweeten the pie a bit, other than that my wife and I loved it and look forward to eating it for breakfast. I am sure my kids will love it.

This is amazing! Today is my third time making it. The first two times is was gone within 24 hours - my family devoured it. I don't have strawberries today so I'm using a variety of other fruits instead. Thanks for the recipe!
